If your site is in any way connected with Ostomy surgery, ie ileostomy, colostomy, urostomy, j pouch, koch pouch, etc, then this webring is for you. It will connect sites with info, pics, message boards, chat channels, especially personal homepages of ostomates on the web - in fact anything relating to Ostomy surgery, allowing readers to easily navigate their way through similar pages. Pages containing information on IBD, ie Ulcerative Colitis or Crohns Disease, Colon Cancer or similar are also welcome.

To gain final membership, after your application, I will look at your page and decide on it's inclusion or denial.

I will be happy to help you with any questions you have. Please don't hesitate to ask, if you have any. I want to include every applicant, but I also want to keep the quality of the ring as high as possible at the same time. If you receive a denial, find out why, correct those reasons and re-apply. WE WANT YOU!

Here are the steps that need to be followed to join the Ostomy/J Pouch  Ring. Please follow them closely to preserve the integrity of the ring! I know it may sound complicated at first glance but it's not.....really!!!

Once you complete the Membership Application, you will be sent a confirmation email containing a URL telling you where to find the HTML code to put your webring on your page. This will put your page in the  Queue Database, where it will remain until you are added to the ring.

This does not insert you in the ring; the actual insertion is done later once I have visited your site and approved it's inclusion in the ring.

Once you have posted the HTML Code Fragment contained in the confirmation email to your page, then email me with the subject line "Ostomy/J Pouch Web Ring", WITH THE SITE ID NO. AND URL IN THE BODY OF THE EMAIL. Your page will then be reviewed to make sure your site meets the requirements and has the correct Ostomy/J Pouch Ring HTML fragment on the page. YOU WILL HAVE JUST 14 DAYS TO POST THE RING FRAGMENT TO YOUR PAGE AND QUALIFY FOR MEMBERSHIP. Qualified sites remaining in the queue for longer than two weeks (14 days) without adding the ring logo will be deleted automatically without further notice. Those sites must resubmit the appropriate information and receive a new site id number to be added to the queue again for review.

After reviewing your page, if everything is correct and approved, you should then receive an e-mail telling you you've been added.

That's it! You should now be able to navigate the entire ring by clicking "Next" until you make it back to your own page.
